Sausage And Egg Casserole

Ingredients:


4 slices bread cubed
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cups milk
4 sausages, browned
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mild Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Makes 4 to 6 servings

Directions:

  • Cube bread and place in a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish.

  • Sprinkle evenly with sausage and cheese.

  • Mix eggs, milk, and salt. Pour over ingredients in baking pan.

  • May cover and chill overnight.

  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper (if using).

  • Bake 45 minutes at 325F or until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Cut into squares to serve.
