Italian Meatball Skewers

Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef 1 cup breadcrumbs 1 onion (finely chopped) 1 tablespoon oregano 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 egg (lightly beaten)

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together well.

Shape ground beef mixture into small meatball shapes.

Place meatballs on a plate lined with plastic food wrap, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Thread four meatballs onto a lightly oiled skewer.

Repeat with remaining meatballs and skewers.

Place skewers on prepared barbecue grill and cook, turning frequently, for 8 minutes or until cooked through.

Serve with a side salad and bread of choice.
