Italian Meatball Skewers

Ingredients:

1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 egg (lightly beaten)

Directions:

  • Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together well.

  • Shape ground beef mixture into small meatball shapes.

  • Place meatballs on a plate lined with plastic food wrap, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  • Thread four meatballs onto a lightly oiled skewer.

  • Repeat with remaining meatballs and skewers.

  • Place skewers on prepared barbecue grill and cook, turning frequently, for 8 minutes or until cooked through.

  • Serve with a side salad and bread of choice.
