Classic Meat Loaf Recipe

Ingredients:
2 pounds lean ground beef 2 large eggs (beaten) 3/4 cup crushed buttery round crackers or breadcrumbs 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon garlic salt
For the Glazing
1 cup ketchup 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

In a large bowl combine all meat loaf ingredients (not glazing ingredients).

Mix together well and place into a meat loaf baking pan or shape into a loaf shape and place on regular baking pan.

In a separate bowl combine glazing ingredients and mix well.

Spoon half of the glazing mixture over meat loaf. Reserve other half of mixture.

Sprinkle top of meat loaf with parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350F approximately 45 to 55 minutes or until meat loaf is browned and cooked through.

Spoon remainder of glazing mixture over meat loaf about 10 minutes before cooking time is complete.
